It begins with snapshots of a ghost town, and then to Florence lying on a bed, whilst feathers slowly fall onto her. As the lyrics start she opens her eyes and looks around bewildered. The twinkling beat begins as she looks out the window, to see the feather's falling like rain. Then when the heavy beat begins the feathers turn red, and she begins to grow scared, and exits the house as the chorus begins.

When 'no more calling like a crow' happens, the scene transfers to florence dressed in a scarecrow outfit on a post (the outfit could be similar to her halloween one) and she writhes and sings to the chorus - and it flashes between normal florence looking around in terror and the crimson feathers and empty town and the scarecrow florence grinning. A flashback begins of Florence walking through an office, where people are typing on typewriters (they match the beat, so when the fourth cymbal happens they tap the page across) she is then seen walking through the same office, but it is deserted. She looks out the window and sees thee scarecrow at the top of the hill.

Suddenly the feathers seem to merge together into clumps, - humanoid shapes. Florence realises that these feathers are the people who lived in the town, and runs, as the feathers become people, (lying dead.) She runs up the hill to the Scarecrow Florence, and sees a key hanging around her neck. She pulls it off, and the scarecrow turns into feathers, and then Florence turns to find a door carved into the world - she can see the distortion of the shape. As she taps it it becomes wood, she inserts the key into the lock, and steps through. The door closes as she gasps. :)

 My own was :

 It begins with a dreamy garden with soft colours and growing flowers. Florence sits on a chair in the middle of the garden fog all around her. there is white ropes that hold her spine and arms for not to collapse. Looks like she is sleeping. She raises her head up and looks around with confusion.. Her eyes are white but they change from white to mirror things around her, like glass-eyes. She starts singing "It seems that I have been held..." and she tries to feel the objects with her hands but they are all made of fog. At the part "No kiss no gentle word could wake me from this slumber" she sees a reflection of someone, and the reflection tries to surround her but she realises it is a reflection.  Her eyes turn to blue/to her normal eyes and she starts shaking. "felt it in my fists, in feets, in the hollows of my eyelids..." and her arms and ribs begin to crack, and she is afraid. (she is wearing a white wedding dress)

 the place changes when the chorus starts, it's a dark forest and she tries to find a way away... the branches cut her face... And during the second verse, she ended up to a deserted town, the sky is flaming and there is peoples staring to the sky terrified. She walks around and her old reflection she saw before haunts her there. "And all my bones begin to shake, my eyes flew open......" She remembers the moment when her boyfriend left her.. She looks the reflection into it's face and black tears fall from her eyes. The crack keeps moving on her skin, on her cheek. She raises her cracking hands and the Sky becomes a blinding ocean of white electric flames.

The chorus after that includes the forest again. "Snow White stitching up the circuitboards..." - Florence is in her own room, wrapped around her own arms and around her is much papers and there reads some versions of blinding's Lyrics. She looks into her window with raindrops and whispers the words out.

The last chorus of blinding begins. She finds letters from the garden the 'video' begun. She  just watches how she is breaking down...

And in the end where she gasps she turns into fog and the fog disappears.

 thank you so much :) I just tend to think up things like this whilst listening to music. Like with Howl I imagine her in an ambulance for some reason, and then she bursts out of it in the chorus :L

Amazing! I thought at howl she could be in a bloody wedding dress... Hunting her love that is gone. And that is why she has become a killer.... and At the beginning she closes her eyes in her own room and she like imagines herself killing. cool. but ambulance sounds really cool too.

I've sort of thought up an idea for a 'Blinding' video. It's got lots of holes in at the moment but it's an idea... Sorry btw, it's quite lengthy :S

It begins with blurred images of Flo, random ones, and once the song starts, Flo is staring into a mirror, with wet eyes from crying. She sees the detached expression in her reflection and touches it. Condensation rolls down the mirror. This all happens in slow motion. There are constant flashes of a man looming over her in the mirror. As the chorus begins, thunder cracks and shatters the mirror. Flo gets thrown away from it. You see her running wobbily away from someone and a shadow of herself appears on the ground she has left behind. She runs until she reaches a cliff face and there is nowhere for her to go. A malicious version of herself that was chasing her collides into her and knocks her over the edge. Flo suddenly awakens with black pupils andn the world bustling around her explodes as if it were never there.
I haven't got any more until the end, where the mirror rebuilds itself, showing her reflection wearing a veil (like the one she uses in live performances). There is a shot of a vein with electrical sparks coming out of it. It then returns to the mirror and the man from earlier is standing beside her like a ghost. She walks into her reflection (to fit with the line "synapse slipping through the hidden door").

Amazing ! Really, these all are. How there can be so many great expressions for blinding, it shows how good she is with creating emotion.

I had the mirror somewhere too... and I could say that the whole story is in my head like a movie, with the scenes named and everything.. :)

Well I thought that she could be lying there on the  bed, then right before the lyrics start her spirit comes out of her body leaving her in some sort of

dreaming state. Then her spirit is in a garden, kind of like a green house but bewilderingly beautiful. There are dream catchers everywhere

Then right before she says  My eyes flew open she falls asleep in the garden and when she says My eyes flew open she opens her eyes quickly

and stares into the camara terrorfied

Great! I love your idea so I can't wait to include it :) Once it's finished (which unfortunately won't be for a while) we'll put up pictures of it so you can see! x
