I was wondering if you guys could help me out. For a University  interview next week I have to present a business analysis of an artist career so far. I have decided to do mine on Florence and the Machine.
Could you please help me to outline Florences career so far, so who she is signed with and how she has been developed by companies and organisations in the UK record industry.

well to start you off, Flo is signed to Island records,she was the frontwoman for Toxic Cockroaches and Ashok, but ended the contract with them, cos she felt she was in 'the wrong band' and went and did her own thing... i think BBC promoted her alot with 'BBC introducing' that helped her rise to her fame, but Maried Nash (her manager) found her by flo singing an Etta James song to maried in a club toilets one night... umm, florence + the machine was originally gonna be called Florence Robot is a machine, so between flo and kebordist Isa, they're like, Florence Robot + Isabella Machine! um, but if u need to know anymore, check wikipedia, but thats the stuff off of the top of my head, so to ramble on... (:
